Many older adults do not want to eat alone. The Golden Diners Program offers them a way to get a healthful meal each day and enjoy the company of neighbors and friends. Hot, nutritious lunches are served to older adults (over 60 years of age) at nearly 70 community sites each weekday throughout Chicago.
JASC serves these healthful, low-cost lunches every Monday through Friday throughout the year, except National Holidays, to seniors. The suggested contribution for seniors age 60 and above is $2.00.
